Mold Making

Molds are created when it is necessary to create a final piece in a material other than that in which it was originally sculpted.

This is often done when multiples of the same piece are required or when a soft rubber version (perhaps for use in a puppet) of a piece is needed.

Molds have included simple silicon and rubber pour molds up to multi piece silicon, resin and plaster molds. The casting material is then either poured or injected into the mold.
